oFaxy holds the details of your day — your tasks, appointments, and recipes. We treat that as private by default. Here's plainly how we protect it.
Your data is encrypted in transit, reachable only through your authenticated account, never sold, and only used to power the features you ask for. You can export or permanently delete your account and its data at any time.
All traffic between your browser or mobile app and oFaxy is served over HTTPS/TLS, so the content you type — including the plain-English instructions you give the AI — is encrypted on the wire.
Your workspace is private to your account. The web app authenticates you with a signed-in session, and the mobile app and any API access use short-lived bearer tokens (JWT). Every request for your tasks, appointments, and recipes is scoped to the signed-in user — one account can never read another's data.
oFaxy uses a soft-delete model: when you remove something it disappears from your views immediately and is excluded from every query, while a recoverable copy is retained briefly to guard against accidental loss before being purged. You can request permanent deletion of your account and its content at any time, and export your data on request.
Some features send the text you submit to trusted third-party AI providers purely to interpret your instruction and return the result — for example, turning "book a dentist Friday at 3pm" into a calendar appointment. We do not sell your content, and we do not permit it to be used to train third-party models where an opt-out is available to us. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
oFaxy runs on managed hosting with access controls, and is designed to run behind a hardened reverse proxy. Backups are taken so your workspace can be recovered, and are subject to the same retention and deletion practices as your live data.
