oFaxy ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy
explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the
oFaxy web application, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with
this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and password when you register.
- Content you create — tasks, calendar appointments, recipes, notes, and any text you enter into the Service, including plain-English instructions you give to our AI.
- Payment information — billing details processed securely by our third-party payment provider when you subscribe to a paid plan.
- Connected account data — if you choose to connect a TikTok or Google account, the saved-video information described under Connected Accounts below.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the Service.
- Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies — small files used to remember your preferences (for example, your selected theme) and keep you signed in.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Process your plain-English instructions through AI to create tasks, appointments, and recipes on your behalf.
- Manage your account, subscriptions, and billing.
- Improve, personalise, and expand the Service.
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse.
AI Processing
Some features rely on third-party artificial intelligence providers to interpret your
instructions and generate content. When you use these features, the relevant text you submit
may be transmitted to those providers solely to deliver the requested result. We do not sell
your content, and we do not permit it to be used to train third-party models where an
opt-out is available to us.
Connected Accounts (TikTok and Google)
You can choose to connect a TikTok or Google account so that oFaxy can build you a library of
the videos you have already saved on those services. This is entirely optional, and nothing is
imported until you grant permission on the provider's own consent screen.
- What we import — from TikTok, the videos in your Like List and Favourite
Videos, through TikTok's Data Portability API; from Google, your liked YouTube videos and
your playlists. In both cases we store only the video's link, title, creator, caption or
description, the date you saved it, and a thumbnail image. We never download or store the
videos themselves.
- What we do with it — the videos are sorted into categories so you can
search and browse them. As described under AI Processing above, a video's title
and caption may be sent to our AI provider for the sole purpose of choosing its category.
Your library is private to your account and is not visible to other users.
- What we never do — we do not post, comment, like, follow, or make any
change whatsoever to your TikTok or Google account, and we do not share your imported
library with anyone.
- Access tokens — the token that lets us read your saved videos is
encrypted before it is stored, and is never exposed to your browser.
- Withdrawing permission — you can withdraw at any time. On the TikTok
Library page, Disconnect and delete withdraws our access with TikTok and
deletes every video we imported from it. You can also remove individual videos whenever
you like, and you can revoke our access directly from the privacy or security settings of
TikTok or Google themselves.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:
- With service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, payment processing, and AI providers), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- To comply with the law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights, safety, and property.
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- With your consent, or at your direction.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to
provide the Service. When you delete content, it is soft-deleted and removed from your views
immediately; residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period before being purged.
You may request deletion of your account at any time.
Data Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption
in transit, access controls, and secure hosting. However, no method of transmission or storage
is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your
personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights,

Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information,
please contact us so we can remove it.

posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
